Maggie scooped more sand and dirt out of Bumblebee's vents. "This is disgusting."
"Imagine what it'd have been like if it rained after that. Then you'd be cleaning out mud," said Bumblebee. His voice was muffled as he laid on the ground with Maggie straddling his back. The others were scattered around the old dilapidated farm house, a small lantern sat beside Maggie for extra illumination.
"Yeah, take it from experience, that ain't a fun time," Raul offered in between bites of beans straight from the can.
Bumblebee laughed, sending dust out of the vents and making Maggie cough, "Bee!"

City Museum Slidesby *batchix

Believe it or not, these are slides. Well, at least one is, and there's another shorter slide down near the bottom. Please visit St Louis's City Museum for a chance to run around here, no matter your age! There are man made caves with "fossils", a tree house, about six slides, a plane suspended in the air above the whole thing and you can climb and play on ALL of them.

I snapped this right before I went up, I thought it was just an awesome industrial image, it makes me think of something out of Equilibrium or the Matrix or something... I've never taken art photos outside of my dolls, so I'm rather proud of how this turned out. :3

I love that place, in fact I just came back from a trip to St Louis in which I went there.

Though at times that slide area can be very creepy, but always fun.

Sometimes, in that network of caves, it can seem like I made a wrong turn somewhere going down one of the holes and accidentally ended up in Hell.

MOST AMAZING SLIDE!! I went there last December after a 2 week canoe expedition in the Ozarks and it was just AMAZING! The best Museum I have EVER been too! I look forward to returning one day...

oh man! i am writing an essay on my experiences at City Museum at this moment. i went on a road trip to see my colorado avalanche play the st. louis blues, and i stumbled across this place, it is EXACTLY what i imagine heaven to look like!!

its great to see a fellow City Museum enthusiast! i'd love to go back, but its a long drive from Colorado.

glad you like it! City Museum is just so awesome. As an adult you still want to throw caution to the wind and just play with stuff, but most places are just for kids. :{ I'm glad city museum lets ANYONE play and climb on stuff! I wish I hadn't been so scared to damage my camera so I could have taken some more pictures. :3

ha ha, trust me, i was a college sophomore when i went. so i know the joy of enjoying that place at an older age. and like you i didn't get many pictures cuz we didn't take our camera around with us due to fear of breaking it. i REALLY wish i had pictures of it now.

regardless, your picture brought back joyous memories and for that... i thank you!
