Behold! It started out as a lip service nurse dress! AND NOW IT IS RATCHET-GIRL.
So all I really did was sew on the autobot symbol, some extra crosses and make myself a headpiece. But that was all from scratch! I cut out the logo and sewed each of those damn pieces down myself. It sucked too, it was all vinyl and the idiots I bought my "Teflon coated sewing foot" from LIED to me and it's just a plain plastic foot! The reason you use a teflon coated foot for sewing vinyl is it doesn't create friction on the vinyl like a regular foot does. But a PLASTIC foot is not much better than a regular metal foot! URGH. So that was frustrating and that's why the chevrons and the headpiece looks a little ass tastic. The pic of the symbol I keep thinking, "BEHOLD, MY CHASSIS!" also, all those bins behind me are filled to the brim with fabrics divided by color or texture(like one is jeans, but another might be all my purples). I have 24 bins in total and all the fabrics each measure less than 3 yards. It's for the doll clothes I make. |
