I AM SO FUCKING BEAT. IT WAS AWESOME.

We met up with Holly and Ellen, then hopped to the pasadena convention center. It was a lovely cool day, really nice. Everyone was so sweet that I met and many thanks to everyone that stopped me to say hi!

About the time we got there I realized that my deep reason for wanting to go was... to shop. I dragged poor D ALL over the show room floor- WHICH WAS HUGE- and bought a BUNCH of toys. Most significant was MP Thundercracker and MP Grimlock! WWWEEEEEE~~~ I guess grimlock was going to be my christmas prsent from D but the people he ordered through just weren't coming through. I also FINALLY got a G1 sideswipe for less than $30... and a G1 Bluestreak! And lots of other bits and bobs. Ellen was a sweetie and grabbed me a print of sideswipe! Gonna put that in my cube at work.


My costume went over quite well and uh... i think that there's probably going to be pictures of my boobs all over the interwebs. I thought my jacket covered more, but if I bent slightly it was cleavage city! I also got to see the lovely Hoshikage and chat with her and play with her machina, Sparx, a bit! that was great! there really weren't too many people in costume, I was surprised. I think there were maybe 10-15 of us? And only about six were actual robot costumes. There was also Cobra Commander, Baroness, and the Crimson Twins. They were awesome and very in character-which was hilarious.

Anyway, I came home, took a shower and crashed out almost immediately. I intended tosleep just for maybe an hour or so but I didn't wake up till 10:30pm.


OH! Best hilarious quote of the day was a guy at a booth talking to D, "Dude, you are a lucky man. I totally want a girlfriend now." But the way he said it was very much like you'd say, "Wow, I totally want that fig now, it's way more impressive in person." XD;;;;



I am SO sorry I didn't get to go to the DA meetup or go out for drinks with SonofWolf after the 'con but we all were so beat. It was wonderful to meet everyone and just so much fun! I wish I'd had more time to talk to people!


Now I have to get ready for E3 next week! My company is going and I think i'll be there either tuesday or wednesday... i'll find out for sure tomorrow. X3

THEN the 19-21 I will be at Gogadoll in San Francisco! I gotta get permission to leave early on the 19th from work too. XD;;; DARRRR~~~
